Friedrich Ernst von Spiegel

Friedrich Ernst von Spiegel Freiherr zum Desenberg and Canstein (* 1770 , † 1817 ) was a Knight of the Teutonic Order . He comes from the family von Spiegel zum Desenberg .

Life

Theodor Hermann von Spiegel's son lost his father at the age of 9. He was a brother of the later Archbishop of Cologne Ferdinand August von Spiegel and the Minister Franz Wilhelm von Spiegel . In 1765 he was accepted into the Teutonic Order as a brother of the knights and belonged to the Westphalia ballot. In 1789 he became Komtur der Kommende Osnabrück and in 1793 Komtur der Kommende Welheim , from where he moved to the Kommende Malenburg . Furthermore, he was electoral privy councilor, deputy of the state parliament of the Duchy of Westphalia . and Drost.
