Friedrich Hartmann (politician, 1899)

Friedrich Hartmann (born August 26, 1899 in Daun ; †  February 12, 1985 ibid) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and secondary school in Daun, she worked for the Daun district savings bank. Hartmann became a civil servant in 1922, took leave in 1933 and retired in 1934. From 1939 he worked as an auditor and from 1942 as an assistant in tax matters. After the war he became deputy curator at the special fund in Koblenz in 1949 and worked as a tax advisor, from 1955 to 1974 as a tax representative .

Political party

Hartmann had been a member of the center since 1919 . After the war he became a member of the CDP (later CDU ) in 1946 .

MP

Hartmann was a member of the National Advisory Assembly from 1946 to 1947. He worked here on the finance committee. He was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament for two electoral terms (1st – 2nd WP) from June 4, 1947 to May 17, 1955. In the first electoral term he was chairman of the reform and savings commission and a member of the agricultural policy committee, the border region committee, the main committee and the budget and finance committee. In the 2nd electoral term he was a member of the Main Committee and the Budget and Finance Committee.

In 1954 he was a member of the 2nd Federal Assembly .

Communal activities

Hartmann was a member of the Daun local council from 1929 to 1934 and after the war from 1946 to 1947 mayor of Daun. In 1948 he also became a member of the district council and the district committee Daun .
