Erich Berger

Erich Berger (born March 28, 1910 in Sackisch , Glatz district , province of Silesia ; † January 10, 2003 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Erich Berger attended primary school and trained as a tailor . Then he attended an evening textile school . After the master's examination in 1935, he started his own business as a master tailor. In 1939 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht .

After the Second World War , Berger joined the CDU in 1945 and became the owner of a bespoke tailoring company. From 1952 he had a retail business . In the Berlin election in 1954 , he was elected to the District Assembly (BVV) in the Reinickendorf district. He became an honorary judge at the Berlin Regional Social Court . After 15 years in the BVV Reinickendorf, Berger moved to the Berlin House of Representatives in November 1969 , as Ernst Lemmer had again moved into the Bundestag. Berger resigned from parliament in March 1975.
