Friedrich Huwyler
Friedrich Huwyler (born September 29, 1942 ; † October 4, 2009 at Grossen Mythen ) was a Swiss politician ( FDP ).
Huwyler was a local councilor and from 1978 to 1980 mayor of Schwyz . The doctor of law ran his own law firm. From 1996 to 2004 he sat as Justice Director for two legislative periods in the Schwyz government council . From 2002 to 2004 he was head of the government as Landammann .
Huwyler collapsed dead on October 4, 2009 while hiking on the Mythenweg. Despite his poor health, shortly before his death he published a guide for the Schwyz authorities and the politically interested population.
