Friedrich Keim

Friedrich Keim ( pseudonyms : Mimbi , Chris Orlando , Clifford Clure ; born July 24, 1884 in Königshofen , Tauber , † September 10, 1972 in Karlsruhe ) was a German writer .

Life

The Evangelical baptized, born King Friedrich Hofener germ attended elementary and junior high school in Baden-Baden . Friedrich Keim then embarked on a maritime career. After working as a seaman, most recently in the helmsman's position , he worked as a pearl fisherman in Northwest Australia from 1904, as a trader in the South Seas from 1906, and as a planter in Java from 1908 . After returning to Germany, he lived as a freelance writer in Ettlingen from 1924 . Keim, who published over 100 reports and narratives from the years of wandering through the South Seas, Australia and Insulinde in the Karlsruher Tagblatt between 1924 and 1935 , emerged in particular as the author of South Sea stories and books for young people , most of which appeared during the National Socialist era .

The craft enthusiast Friedrich Keim was married to Anna Maria, nee Reis. A child came from this relationship. He died in Karlsruhe in September 1972 at the age of 88.
