Friedrich Kiefer (lawyer)
Friedrich Kiefer (born September 14, 1879 - † July 11, 1952 ) was a German administrative lawyer.
Career
Kiefer was born as the son of a timber merchant and haulage contractor. He received his doctorate in law from the University of Würzburg in 1913 . In 1925, as Ministerialrat, he took over the management of the legal department in the Württemberg Ministry of the Interior. Presumably after an arrangement with the coalition partner DDP , he was appointed office director by President Eugen Bolz in 1931 . After the National Socialists came to power, the Upper Government Councilor Gustav Himmel took his place on April 10, 1933 .
From 1940 to 1944 Kiefer was president of the Stuttgart building fire insurance company. After the end of the Second World War, he served from the beginning of 1947 as a ministerial director in the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Württemberg-Baden . He retired on January 31, 1950.
