Friedrich Koch (politician, 1811)

Johann Friedrich Koch (born July 29, 1811 in Nieder-Wildungen ; † January 30, 1895 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Koch was the son of the economist Johann Philipp Koch and his wife Susanne nee Böttcher. He married Sophie Caroline Adolphine Julie Theodore Escher in Nieder-Wildungen on October 26, 1838. On July 29, 1848, he married Adolfine Friederike Marie Louise Stöcker in Nieder-Wildungen.

Koch studied law and was admitted to the office in 1835. In 1838 he was admitted to the bar. He became mayor of Nieder-Wildungen and was orphanage master in Nieder-Wildungen from 1847 to 1893. In 1894 he gave up the practice of law. From 1875 to 1878 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont for the constituency of Eder .
