Friedrich Lang (politician, 1822)

Friedrich August Lang (born July 14, 1822 in Langenschwalbach , † November 22, 1866 in Wiesbaden ) was a Nassau lawyer and politician.

Lang was the son of the innkeeper and later MP Friedrich Lang and his second wife Elisabeth Ripp († June 7, 1867 in Langenschwalbach).

Friedrich Lang studied law and was awarded a Dr. jur. doctorate and became procurator in Schwalbach and in 1849 court court procurator at the court court Wiesbaden .

In 1848 he was a member of the preliminary parliament . After the March Revolution he was a member of the Nassau Estates Assembly from 1848 to 1851 . There he was a member of the Left Club . From 1858 to 1861 he was a member of the first chamber of the estates of the Duchy of Nassau, from 1861 to 1866 of the second chamber. In parliament he represented liberal positions.
