Friedrich Linz

Friedrich Linz (born January 29, 1860 in Hohenlimburg , † September 16, 1937 in Wuppertal ) was a teacher and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Linz attended the elementary school in Hohenlimburg from 1866 to 1869, the rectorate school there until 1875, the preparatory institute in Elberfeld from 1876 to 1877 and the seminar in Mettmann from 1877 to 1880 . From 1880 to 1883 he was an elementary school teacher in Kapellen , until 1886 elementary school teacher in Elberfeld, until 1898 middle school teacher in Elberfeld and until 1907 senior teacher at the secondary school for girls in Mittelbarmen. In 1898 he was a city councilor in Elberfeld and chairman of the free evangelical people's association in Barmen. In 1881 he did his military duty in Wesel .

From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the electoral district of Düsseldorf 2 Elberfeld , Barmen and the German Reich Party .

After the First World War , Linz joined the German National People's Party (DNVP), for which he was a member of the Prussian Constituent Assembly from 1919 to 1920 .
