Friedrich Moltenbrey

Friedrich "Fritz" Moltenbrey (born September 10, 1899 in Möhringen near Stuttgart, † March 13, 1962 in Plochingen ) was a German social democratic politician.

Career

Before the era of National Socialism, Moltenbrey was chairman of the Echterdinger local groups of the Reich Banner and the SPD . In 1945 he was appointed mayor of the community of Echterdingen after the town was occupied by US troops. He remained in this position until his death in 1962.

He was also a member of the state parliament of Württemberg-Baden as a member of the SPD from 1950 to 1952 . After the formation of the south-west state, he was initially a member of the state constituent assembly and from 1952 to 1960 a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .
