Karl-Erhard Scheufelen

Karl-Erhard Scheufelen (born April 25, 1903 in Oberlenningen ; † April 30, 1992 ) was a German manufacturer. He was the commercial director of the Scheufelen paper mill .

Career

Scheufelen was born as the son of paper manufacturer Adolf Scheufelen and Paula Gossler. After studying in Munich, Leipzig and Hamburg, he and his brother Klaus-Heinrich took over the management of the company founded by their grandfather Carl Scheufelen.

After the Second World War, Karl-Erhard Scheufelen supported the badly damaged Institute for Paper Technology at the TH Darmstadt , which was headed by Walter Brecht . In return, he received the title of honorary senator in 1953.

In addition, he was chairman of the association of paper, cardboard, cell and wood pulp mills in Württemberg-Baden and president of the Association of German Paper Mills (VDP). He was also a member of various supervisory boards.
