Friedrich Nowak (born October 14, 1919 , † after 1945) was a German football player .

Nowak belonged to the TuS Helene Altenessen as a midfielder , for whom he initially played in the second-rate Niederrhein district league and not only rose through the promotion round to the Gauliga Niederrhein in the 1940/41 season , but as a newcomer among ten teams with one point ahead of red -Weiss Essen rewarded as Gaumeister Niederrhein. With this success his team was entitled to participate in the final round of the German championship . In the championship, which was held in four groups, two of which were divided into two subgroups, with three and four teams respectively, he played the first three games of Group 3 , making his debut on May 6, 1941 in a 1-1 draw at Kickers Offenbach gave. In third place, the competition was over for him and his team, as only the group winners made it to the semi-finals.

In the other seasons of the Gauliga Niederrhein he took sixth , two and three places with his team ; the 1944/45 season was canceled after the first game day at the end of September 1944 due to the effects of the Second World War . As a player in the Niederrhein region selection team , he took part in the 1942 competition for the Reichsbund Cup. After his team managed to prevail in the round of 16 with 3: 1 over the regional selection team Baden , in the quarter-finals with 6: 2 over the regional selection team Kurhessen and with him in the semifinals with 1: 0 over the regional selection team Donau-Alpenland , he also denied that on 15.
