Friedrich Ribstein

Friedrich Wilhelm Eduard Ribstein (born June 21, 1885 in Bruchsal , † February 24, 1957 in Müllheim ) was a German administrative officer and district administrator .

Life

Born as the son of a medical advisor, Ribstein studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau and Heidelberg after attending grammar school in Bruchsal . During his studies in 1906 he became a member of the Freiburg fraternity of Teutonia . After his exams in 1911 and 1918, he went to the Baden office in 1919; 1920 to Offenburg . From 1919 to 1926 he was a member of the German National People's Party and in 1937 of the NSDAP . From 1933 to 1944 he was district administrator in the district of Müllheim and then worked for the district commissioner in Freiburg before he was appointed by the French military government from 1945 to 1946.
