Friedrich Seidel (publisher)

Friedrich Seidel (* July 7, 1863 ; † after 1943) was a German newspaper publisher and book printer owner .

Seidel was the publisher of the Obererzgebirgische Zeitung. Heimatblatt for all ethnic groups in the Upper Ore Mountains border area. General-Anzeiger for the entire Upper Ore Mountains , which in Buchholz i. Sat appeared and from which the Erzgebirge homeland sheets arose. He worked in Buchholz from the beginning of the 1890s until after his 80th birthday. In addition to his lasting contribution to the development of the press in the Ore Mountains , he left behind the imposing construction of the publishing building for the Friedrich Seidel book printing company in Marktstrasse Buchholz.
