Friedrich Tilemann
Jacob Friedrich Wilhelm Tilemann (born March 19, 1839 in Emden , † September 16, 1914 in Hanover ) was a German administrative officer and parliamentarian.
Life
Friedrich Tilemann studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1857 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Heidelberg . After graduating, he embarked on an administrative career. From 1865 to 1868 he was mayor of the city of Melle . In 1879 he was appointed governor of the north office . In 1885 he was appointed the first district administrator of the newly created Iburg district. He held the office until 1904. Most recently he lived in Hanover .
Tilemann was a member of the Provincial Parliament of Hanover.
