Friedrich Berthold Julius Weber , also Fritz Weber (born May 13, 1883 in Malliß , † April 5, 1968 in Neustrelitz ) was a German lawyer and politician of the DVP .

Life

Friedrich (Fritz) Weber, son of a farmer and freight forwarder, attended secondary school in Stettin and studied law in Wroclaw, Freiburg, Berlin and Greifswald from 1902 to 1905. Afterwards he was a trainee lawyer at the District Court of Stepenitz and the Regional Court of Stettin. In 1909 he was in Greifswald with a thesis on "The financial damage to the fraud," Dr. jur. doctorate and then made a career as an administrative lawyer. In 1910 he was a court assessor in the Higher Regional Court district of Stettin, 1912–1914 with the administration of the district courts of Neustrelitz and Strelitz. In 1913 he moved from the Prussian judicial service to the Mecklenburg-Strelitz state service, was appointed assistant judge in 1914, district judge in 1915 and district judge at the Neustrelitz district court in 1918. In 1918/19 he worked as Minister of State with responsibility for the Department of Finances and Domains of the State Ministry of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Strelitz , from January 17, 1919 as an advisory board member of the State Ministry and head of Department IV, from February 10, 1919 head of the department I for the affairs of finance, domains and forests. 1920–1928 Weber was a district judge, 1928–1933 senior public prosecutor at the district court of Neustrelitz.

Weber was a member of the Constituent Assembly of the Free State in 1918/19 and in the Landtag of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Strelitz until 1920 . In 1918 and 1919 he was a member of the Stubmann government and a member of the State Council (Minister of State) in the 2nd Krüger government .

After the National Socialists came to power, he was dismissed from the Mecklenburg-Strelitz state service and worked as a lawyer and notary in Neustrelitz from 1933 to 1968.
