Friedrich Wilhelm Georg Voss (born March 14, 1892 in Harburg ; † September 12, 1966 in Hanover ) was a German manufacturer.

Life

Friedrich Voss, son of the businessman Georg Voss and Anna, née Nilheus, completed a commercial apprenticeship with the JJ Hinrichs company in Altona-Ottensen after attending the secondary school in Harburg . He then studied at the Cologne Commercial College and the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1912 he became a member of the Corps Hansea Cologne . As a result, he became a partner in FAG Voss in Harburg and partner in Voss & Co. mbH in Hamburg. Since the merger of A. Voss sen. in Sarstedt with Germania Ofen- und Herdfabrik Winter & Co. to Vosswerke AG , he was a member of the board of this company, which included an iron foundry and a factory for cooking appliances, ovens and gas appliances of all kinds.

Voss was a member of the board of directors of the Hildesheim employers' association and chairman of the Corps Hansea in Cologne, and was named Senator. During the First World War he was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd and 1st class. He was married to Margarete Uhlendorf. The marriage resulted in two sons and a daughter.
