Friedrich Wilhelm Mundinger

Friedrich Wilhelm Mundinger (born December 7, 1893 in Offenburg ; † May 24, 1965 in Remscheid ) was a German economist , artist and politician of the FDP .

Live and act

Mundinger attended high school after elementary school and did a commercial apprenticeship in Pforzheim until 1913 . From 1919 to 1921 he studied economics in Munich . Then studied Mundinger political science and a doctorate Dr. rer. pole. He then went into business for himself as a consultant economist.

He was also active as a painter and graphic artist, creating landscapes and still lifes . From 1933 he was banned from painting and exhibiting. After the Second World War he was chairman of the Westphalian Secession, first chairman of the West German Association of Artists and Vice President of the State Professional Association of Fine Artists of North Rhine-Westphalia .

politics

Politically, Mundinger had been a member of the FDP since 1945. He was district chairman of the party in Munster . There he was also a member of the district council . In 1946 Mundinger was a member of the appointed Provincial Council for Westphalia . He was also a member of the Appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1946 and 1947 and was a member of the first elected Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia in the first electoral period via the state list .
