Friedrich von Runkel
Friedrich Wilhelm Justus von Runkel (born March 1, 1833 in Koblenz , † July 5, 1914 in Heddesdorf ) was a German lawyer, administrative officer and landowner.
Life
Friedrich von Runkel was the son of the district administrator and landowner Eduard von Runkel . After attending high school in Koblenz he studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn Law . In 1852, like his father, he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Bonn . After completing his studies, he first pursued a career as a judge. In 1868 he became district judge in Dierdorf and in 1876 district judge in Neuwied . In 1877 he succeeded his father as district administrator for the Neuwied district . He held the office until 1906. After the death of his father, he became the owner of the Heddesdorf, Maiborn and Düsternau estates .
