Friedrich Wolfram Heubach
Friedrich Wolfram Heubach (* 1944 in Nordrach ) is a German psychologist , freelance journalist and university professor.
Life
Heubach studied psychology , sociology and art studies at the University of Cologne with a degree in psychology. He received his doctorate as Dr. phil. with the treatise The Aestheticization . From 1968 to 1973 he was the editor of the magazine Interfunktion , in which contemporary artists published. 1969 to 1971 he had a teaching position at the Cologne factory schools . In 1984 he completed his habilitation in psychology. 1985 to 1989 he taught as professor of psychology at the University of Cologne at the psychological institute with Wilhelm Salber . From 1989 to 1992 he was professor of psychology at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. From 1992 until his retirement in 2008 he held the chair for psychology / education at the Düsseldorf Art Academy .
Heubach's publications are mainly in the areas of perceptual psychology, image theory, new visual media, empirical aesthetics and the psychology of everyday life.
