Friedrich von Gerlach

Friedrich Wilhelm Leopold von Gerlach (born June 27, 1828 ; † November 24, 1891 ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator in the Oschersleben district (1864–1884). He owned a quarter of the Rohrbeck manor and was also a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Saxony .

origin

He comes from the younger Rohrbeck line of the Gerlach family. His uncle was General Leopold von Gerlach . His grandfather, Carl Friedrich Leopold von Gerlach, was the Lord Mayor of Berlin. His parents were Gustav Wilhelm von Gerlach (* May 10, 1789 - August 20, 1834) and his wife Ida, born von Chambaud-Charrier (* January 12, 1800 - April 10, 1830).

family

Gerlach married Marie von Rohr on October 1, 1858 (* December 28, 1837 - November 24, 1891) from the Hohenwulsch family. The couple had several children:

  • Servaz (born March 1, 1868) ∞ Elisbeth Freiin von Maltzahn (born January 24, 1874), daughter of Helmuth von Maltzahn

  • Klaus (also: Nikolaus) (1875–1955), Prussian district administrator
