Life

Friedrich Kettler was born the son of Duke Gotthard and his wife Anna von Mecklenburg-Güstrow . He was married to Elisabeth Magdalena von Pommern , the daughter of Ernst Ludwig von Pommern-Wolgast . After the death of his father he ruled for his minor brother Wilhelm until 1595 .
