Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst von Koenen (born January 8, 1836 in Frankfurt an der Oder , † November 29, 1899 in Berlin ) was a German administrative lawyer in Prussia.

Life

Koenen's grandfather was the President of the Supreme Court, Johann Friedrich von Koenen . The father was president of the examination commission for senior administrative officials and owner of the manor Quenstedt .

Koenen was active in the Corps Neoborussia Berlin (1856) and in the Corps Marchia Halle (1857). It was 1867 provisional final and 1868 as district administrator of Mansfeld mountainous district in the administrative district of Merseburg of the Prussian province of Saxony used. He held this office until 1883. He was also a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Saxony .
