Friedrich von Krosigk (political scientist)

Friedrich von Krosigk (born December 26, 1937 - † February 14, 2018 ) was a German political scientist . He was a professor at the Institute for Political Science at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg .

Life

Friedrich von Krosigk studied political science, philosophy and history in Munich, Paris and Seattle. He was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation . He received his doctorate in 1967 from the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and completed his habilitation in 1977 at the University of Heidelberg . From 1977 von Krosigk was professor for international relations at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He died in 2018 at the age of 80.
