Friedrich von Stadion
Friedrich von Stadion , Count von Stadion, (* 1774 in Bamberg , † 1821 in Naples ) was a German chemist and landowner.
Friedrich von Stadion owned lands in Bohemia and was canon in Bamberg.
In 1815, independently of Humphry Davy (1811), he discovered chlorine dioxide and in 1816 perchloric acid . In 1817 he published on the improvement of galvanic cells .
