Fresh Air is a song by Wincent Weiss , Jens Schneider, Sascha Wernicke and Julian Schwitzler, which became famous in the interpretation of the German singer Wincent Weiss. The song was released on August 11, 2017 under the label Vertigo Berlin as the third single from his first album Irgendwas gegen die Stille .

The lyrics were written by Weiss, Sascha Wernicke, Julian Schwitzler and Jens Schneider; the melody comes from Schneider, who also produced fresh air . All four songwriters also contributed background vocals. All instruments, except for the drums, which were played by Tilman Reutz, were also played by Schneider, including all guitars. The song was mastered by Peter Seifert.

A slightly edited version of the song was recorded for release as a single. In contrast to the album version, this version is two seconds shorter and has a different beginning than the original. Also includes a Boogieman & Pyke remix.

The song has a catchy melody. It is about a love that has passed.

Music video

The music video for fresh air was filmed by Felix Angermaier and edited by Felix Urbauer, the drone recordings were made by Skynamic. The clip only shows Weiss running through a vineyard and over fields or standing in a forest clearing . In addition, larger parts of the photos were taken on July 21, 2017 on the Steigerwald treetop path in Ebrach with the observation tower there as the main subject.

The music video was released on August 11, 2017 on Digster Pop's YouTube channel.
