Fritz Bohle

Fritz Böhle (born January 15, 1945 in Oberstdorf ) is a German sociologist .

Life

Böhle studied sociology in connection with economics and psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich , the doctorate took place at the University of Bremen (Dr. rer. Pol.), The habilitation at the University of Bielefeld . Fritz Böhle has been working in research at the Institute for Social Science Research Munich ( ISF Munich ) since 1972 , where he was deputy chairman from 1982 to 1997 and chairman of the board since 1998. From 1998 to 2009 Fritz Böhle was Professor of Socio-Economics in the Work and Professional World at the University of Augsburg . Since 2009 he has been head of the research unit for socioeconomics in the world of work at the University of Augsburg.

Fritz Böhle was involved in the Collaborative Research Centers 101 “Theoretical Basics of Labor Force and Occupational Research” (1972–1986), 333 “Development Perspectives of Work” (1986–1996) and 536 “Reflexive Modernization ” (1999–2009). He was / is a member of various scientific advisory boards and commissions (including demographic change and the future of gainful employment) as well as the Chancellor's 2011/2012 expert dialogue "Dialogue on Germany's Future".

Fritz Böhle's current research focus is on the scientification of work and empirical knowledge, developments in work and subjectivizing work behavior, the limits of planning and dealing with uncertainty.
