Fritz Esser is a former Austrian ski jumper .

Career

Esser competed in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen from 1979 up to and including 1984 as part of the Four Hills Tournament . It was here that he also competed in his first ski jumping World Cup on January 3, 1982 . However, unsuccessful in the tour jumping, he was only able to jump into the top places in the two World Cups after the Four Hills Tournament 1983/84 , which were also the last of his career. Thus achieved Esser in Japanese Sapporo 4th and Swedish Falun 5th Place. At the end of the season he finished 36th in the overall World Cup ranking.
