Fritz Heringhaus

Fritz Heringhaus (born March 16, 1905 in Oesede ; † March 24, 1959 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Heringhaus attended the Catholic elementary school in Oesede and then completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith . In 1919 he started working for Georgsmarienhütte AG , where he had been chairman of the works council and a member of the supervisory board since 1949.

He joined the SPD in 1928 and was a member of the local council in Oesede from 1945 to 1947. Here he was honorary mayor for three years (inauguration on October 30, 1946) and from 1947 also a member of the Osnabrück-Land district council . Heringhaus became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament during the second electoral period between May 6, 1951 and May 5, 1955.
