Fritz Hiersemann

Fritz Hiersemann (born March 22, 1930 in Stettin ; † July 10, 1996 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Hiersemann received his Abitur in 1949 from the Friedrich-Engels-Oberschule in Berlin-Reinickendorf . He then attended administrative school and became a civil servant in 1953 . He studied part-time at the German University of Politics , graduating in 1957 with a diploma in political science. Hiersemann worked in various functions in the Reinickendorf district office , including in the Karl Bonhoeffer mental hospital and in the Reinickendorf youth welfare office. From 1964 to 1968 he was a member of the staff council in the Reinickendorf district office.

In 1960 Hiersemann joined the SPD. In the election to the House of Representatives in 1971 he was elected for the first time, in the Berlin election in 1979 he was able to win the direct mandate in the Reinickendorf constituency 1. In April 1985 he resigned from parliament.

On August 9, 1985, Hiersemann was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class. The laudation at the presentation in December was given by the then President of the House of Representatives, Peter Rebsch .
