Fritz Kern

Friedrich (called: Fritz) Kern (born January 7, 1903 in Eberstadt ; † April 1945 (the date of death was officially set to December 31, 1945) at Pillau in East Prussia ) was a German politician (NSDAP).

Fritz Kern was the son of the bricklayer Friedrich Kern and his wife Helene nee Ross. After attending primary school , Kern earned his living as a factory worker in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. In the mid-1920s he joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). On February 22, 1929, Fritz Kern, who was a Protestant denomination, married for the first time. His marriage to Sofie nee Ebenrecht lasted until 1943. On December 24, 1943, he married Gertrud Jäggle for the second time.

In 1931, Kern became a member of the Hessian state parliament . A year later, in 1932, Kern resigned his state parliament mandate after he had been elected to the Reichstag as a candidate of the NSDAP for constituency 33 (Hessen-Darmstadt) in the Reichstag election in July 1932 . Otto Hartmann succeeded him in the state parliament . After his mandate was confirmed in the following four Reichstag elections - in November 1932, March 1933, November 1933 and March 1936 - he was a member of the Reichstag for almost six years until he left in April 1938.

Kern later took part in World War II . He died in East Prussia in April 1945.
