Fritz Krohn
Fritz Krohn (born September 25, 1873 in Schivelbein , † March 15, 1941 in Münster ) was a German classical philologist and high school teacher .
After attending grammar school in Neustettin , he studied Classical Philology at the University of Berlin from 1892 and received his doctorate there in 1896 with a thesis on Vitruvius . He received a travel grant from the German Archaeological Institute for 1898/99 . In 1905 he passed the teaching examination in Münster and worked as a teacher at the Schillergymnasium in Münster from 1907 . He retired on October 1, 1919.
Fritz Krohn edited the Teubner editions of Vitruvius, De architectura (1912) and Sextus Iulius Frontinus , De aquaeductu urbis Romae (1922, replaced by a new edition in 1973).
