Fritz Lafontaine (born June 25, 1903 in Fulda , † August 31, 1964 in Haar ) was a German actor .

After high school he attended the Polytechnic and trained as an architect. Since 1923 he was seen as a stage actor, who was used as a young comedian and in operettas as a buffo . From 1930 he worked on Berlin theaters such as the Theater in Behrenstrasse and the Komische Oper .

With the beginning of the sound film age, Lafontaine also took part in film productions. He was a typical busy batch actor who usually only appeared for a short time per film.
