Fritz Mohr (politician)

Fritz Mohr (born September 14, 1924 in Mausbach ; † December 29, 2008 in Bitburg ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .

Fritz Mohr was senior councilor of the Trier district government . From 1947 he was a member of the CDU and long-time CDU district chairman in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm . In terms of local politics, he was a member of the city council and an alderman for the city of Bitburg. From 1960 to 1979 he was a member of the Bitburg and Bitburg-Prüm district councils. Between 1964 and 1979 he was a member of the district committee and then first district deputy until 1989.

Fritz Mohr was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate Landtag for the CDU from 1971 to 1983. In the state parliament, Fritz Mohr was a member of the petitions, budget and finance committees as well as the committee on health, family and sport.

Fritz Mohr was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class, the Freiherr vom Stein plaque , the large coat of arms plate and the Golden Badge of Honor from the Bitburg-Prüm district.
