Fritz Obiditsch
Fritz Obiditsch (born June 17, 1926 in Rosenthal ; † June 24, 2013 in Esslingen am Neckar ) was a German sociologist and educator .
Life
Born as the son of the businessman Karl Obiditsch and his wife Juliane geb. Longin, he grew up in Rosenthal (now Rožmitál pod Třemšínem) in Bohemia. He received his doctorate in Tübingen in 1956. Obiditsch was a lecturer from 1962, professor at the Weingarten University of Education from 1965 and its rector from 1971 to 1974. He was also involved in the German Society for Sociology (DGS) . Since 1967 he was an honorary member of the Catholic student association KDStV Welfia Weingarten in the Cartell Association (CV) .
