Fritz Ostmeyer

Fritz Ostmeyer (born October 21, 1915 in Westbarthausen ; † February 10, 1994 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and secondary school , he completed an agricultural apprenticeship and worked as a farmer . He was a reserve officer. From 1958 Ostmeyer was district chairman of the CDU. He was married and had two children.

From May 6, 1968 to July 25, 1970 Ostmeyer was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . On May 6, 1968, he moved from his party's reserve list for Josef Hennemann.

From 1952 he was community representative and mayor of Westbarthausen. The official representation of the office Borgholzhausen / Westf. he was a member from 1948. From 1956 he was a member of the district councils Halle (Westf.) And Gütersloh.

He was mayor of Borgholzhausen from 1969 to 1975.
