Fritz Zinn
Fritz Zinn (* unknown; † around 1950 in New York ) was a German table tennis player and functionary. He took part in the 1926 World Cup.
Zinn lived in Berlin, most recently (1933) in Charlottenburg. At the 1926 World Cup in London, he only appeared in doubles with Curt Gerstmann . After bye in the first round they were eliminated against the Englishmen HA Benett / George J. Ross.
At the same time, Zinn also took on official duties. From 1925 to 1933 he was the first treasurer of the German Table Tennis Association DTTB . From December 1926 he was also an assessor in the presidium of the World Table Tennis Federation ITTF ("Advisory Committee").
In the course of the " Aryanization ", Zinn had to resign from the DTTB office in 1933, as did other "non-Aryan" functionaries, such as sports warden Dr. Herbert Caro .
