Frog Feast is an action game that was released in 2005 for various older home computers and game consoles . It comes from the homebrew scene .
Gameplay
The game is about the player controlling a frog . This shares a pond with a conspecific. As many mosquitos as possible must be eaten, the height and width of the jump can be influenced by yourself. When the time is up, the frog with the highest high score wins .
The gameplay is similar to the classic Frog Bog (also Frogs and Flies ), which appeared in 1982 first for the Intellivision and later for the Atari 2600 .
Reviews
The project was received rather critically by the scene. The simple technical implementation was criticized, sometimes even the developer was insulted. The relatively high price was also a point of criticism.
Remarks
With a physical circulation of 100, it is one of the rarest games for the Dreamcast. It's a tribute to Frog Bog. The game was first introduced in 2005 at the Classic Gaming Expo and vgXpo in Dallas .
