Frontliner (born May 24, 1984 in Amsterdam ; real name Barry Drooger ) is a Dutch hardstyle DJ.

Life

Frontliner began producing their own songs in 2005 under the artist name Abject . At the end of 2006 he started working with Willem Rebergen, better known as Headhunterz . From 2008 to 2012 he was under contract with the Scantraxx label . Since June 2012 his works have been published on his own label, Keep It Up Music .

Frontliner has performed at various major hardstyle events, including the main stages of Reverze , Q-Base Qlimax , Decibel , In Qontrol and Defqon.1 . He contributed the hymns to several major festivals, including the 2010 anthem for InQontrol. The following year he composed the hymn for the Reverze Festival, which is called Call of the Visionary . In 2012 he created the Q-Base Anthem called Symbols and 2013 Weekend Warriors for the Defqon.1. In 2017, Drooger stated for reasons not known in detail that he would no longer appear at Q-Dance or b2s events in the future because there were discrepancies between him and the labels. Drooger reappeared at Defqon.1 2019, suggesting that he and Q-Dance were able to settle their dispute.
