Frost * is a neo-progressive rock - band from the UK . It is known as a supergroup .

history

Frost * was founded in 2004 by the songwriter , producer and musician Jem Godfrey (including songwriting for Atomic Kitten ). Members were John Mitchell ( Arena , Kino , It Bites ) and John Jowitt (Arena, IQ , Ark ) and Andy Edwards (IQ, Ian Parker Band ). The band released the album Milliontown in 2006 , then toured the Netherlands and Germany with Pallas and played a concert as opening act for the Flower Kings in London on October 10, 2006. Before this last concert, Jem Godfrey announced that the band would split up .

In 2008, Jem reformed Godfrey Frost * and added Declan Burke , singer and guitarist with Darwin's Radio , to the lineup. On November 17, 2008, the second album Experiments in Mass Appeal was released .

In 2009 Frost * played at the RoSfest 2009 Festival with drummer Nick D'Virgilio from Spock's Beard . In May 2009, John Jowitt announced that they would be leaving the band. He was replaced by Level 42 guitarist Nathan King .

Frost * are currently playing their live concerts with drummer Craig Blundell .
