The Frost Cliff is a steep and partly icy rock cliff in Marie Byrd Land in western Antarctica . It rises 3 km east of Mount Steinfeld on the south side of the watershed between the upper foothills of the Hull and Kirkpatrick glaciers .
The United States Geological Survey mapped the cliff using its own surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1974 after William L. Frost (* 1928), head of support work for the US Navy on McMurdo Station in 1970.
