Fruit box in Rosenfeld

The fruit box in Rosenfeld , a town in the Zollernalb district in Baden-Württemberg , was built in 1581. The former fruit box in Frauenberggasse is a protected cultural monument . The fruit box in Rosenfeld was one of four granaries in Württemberg that were used to support the poorest in times of need.

The almost 50-meter-long three-storey solid building with corner blocks and profiled cornices still has remains of ornamental painting. Inside is a large hall with stone pillars.

The Heinrich Blickle Museum with a collection of cast iron stove plates has been in the building since 1982.
