This article covers the Hungarian national football team at the 1964 European Football Championship .

qualification

In the preliminary round, Hungary defeated Wales 3-1. The second leg ended 1: 1. In the last sixteen you met the GDR. Hungary won 2-1 and the second leg ended 3-3. In the quarter-finals they met France. Hungary won both games (2-1 and 3-1).
