The Fox Cliff is a cliff of sandstone in the nearby Halberstadt located counter mountains in the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt .

The cliff is located in the north of the Harz Nature Park  - between the Halberstadt districts of Klussiedlung in the north and Langenstein in the west and the Blankenburg district of Börnecke in the south. Its summit (approx.  205  m above sea  level ) is often used as a lookout point. A marked high path connects this with the summit of the Gläserner Mönch cliff , another observation rock.

The cliff has formed out of the bar mountains in the Upper Cretaceous .
