Masaaki Fujita

Masaaki Fujita ( Japanese 藤田 正 明 , Fujita Masaaki ; * around 1930) is a Japanese jazz musician ( guitar ).

Masaaki Fujita worked in the Japanese jazz scene a. a. in the bebop- oriented band The Six Lemons of the drummer, band leader and later actor Frankie Sakai (" St. Louis Blues " (1953), with Akira Fukuhara , Hidehiko Matsumoto , Tsuyoshi Yamamoto ), then played in 1967 with George Kawaguchi's Big Four ( Caravan , with Takatoshi Ohya , Yuzuru Sera , Tetsuji Kimura ), 1978 with Mitsuru Ono & The Swing Beavers ( When You Are Smiling , with Hidehiko Matsumoto).

Under his own name he recorded an album with Akira Miyazawa in the early 1960s ( モ ス コ ー の 夜 は 更 け て , Mosukō no Yoru wa Fukete ); He also presented the LPs Midnight Fantasy ( ミ ッ ド ナ イ ト ・ フ ァ ン タ ジ ー , Middonaito Fantajī ) and Swingin 'Guitar . He was also involved in Sam "The Man" Taylor's album In Japan (MGM, 1961), and around 1980 on two albums by Mari Nakamoto .
