Fumitaka Kitatani ( Japanese 北 谷 史 孝 Kitatani Fumitaka ; born August 18, 1995 in Izumisano ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kitatani learned to play soccer on the school team at Kokoku High School . He signed his first contract with Yokohama F. Marinos in 2014 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2016 he moved to the second division club Renofa Yamaguchi FC . For the club he completed 38 league games. In 2017 he moved to league competitor V-Varen Nagasaki . In 2017 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 14 league games. In May 2018 he moved to the second division club FC Gifu . At the end of the 2019 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League .
