Fundación-Orbea is a cycling team based in the Basque city of Bilbao .

It is named after the Fundación Euskadi , a foundation for the promotion of Basque cycling, which in the course of its activity was already in contact with the Euskaltel Euskadi and Orbea Continental teams and the Basque bicycle manufacturer Orbea .

The team initially started in 2018 under the leadership of sporting director Jorge Azanza as a UCI Continental team and received a license as a UCI ProTeam for the 2020 season for the first time .
