Funkhaus Nürnberg

The Funkhaus Nürnberg is one of the largest private broadcasters in Bavaria and has been an amalgamation of four independent local radio stations since 1995, with seven programs today. Since September 2012, the Funkhaus has been located on Ulmenstrasse in Nuremberg.

Shareholder

The shareholders of Funkhaus Nürnberg Studiobetriebs-GmbH are the publishers Müller Medien , Nürnberger Nachrichten , Abendzeitung , Hubert Burda Media (their subsidiary Burda Broadcast holds 40% of the Studio Gong group; this in turn holds 14.7% of Funkhaus Nürnberg) and other medium-sized companies Bavarian media company.

Channel

  • Hit Radio N1 with a frequency of 92.9 MHz and is aimed primarily at young listeners.
  • Radio Gong 97.1 is the stadium broadcaster of 1. FC Nürnberg , its music program consists mainly of rock music.
  • Radio Charivari 98.6 broadcasts information from the region and sees itself as a “young family broadcaster”.
  • Radio F on 94.5 MHz is a typical accompanying program and is v. a. designed for older listeners aged 50 and over.
  • My favorite radio, DAB-only, plays German hits and the best from the charts. When it starts broadcasting on October 10, 2018 as a follow-up project to Pirate Gong and Pirate Radio .
  • N90 4 Beat DAB-only plays hip-hop music. New on DAB from October 1, 2019.
  • Pirate Radio DAB-only plays indie, grunge and alternative. In the meantime as web radio, from October 1, 2019 back on DAB.

All stations in the greater Nuremberg area can be received via DAB + digital radio.
