My favorite radio is a local private radio station in Nuremberg . It is regarded as the successor to Pirate Radio in the digital terrestrial broadcasting channel. The broadcast studio is located in the Funkhaus Nürnberg . The transmitter belongs to the Studio Gong transmitter group.
founding
The station was re-established as a successor to Pirate Radio on the DAB broadcasting route. In June 2018, the radio committee of the State Center for New Media (BLM) decided that Pirate Gong, which had withdrawn from terrestrial broadcasting a few years earlier and continued to broadcast as web radio, could again permanently change its broadcasting concept. The owner applied for one of two newly created DAB broadcasting slots for the new program. The previous Pirate Radio has since been represented as an internet station with a mixture of indie, grunge and alternative rock.
program
The music selection includes only current hits with a focus on German titles. Florian Kerschner ( Hit Radio N1 ) and Sigi Hoga ( Radio F ) are responsible for the selection . Messages are sent every half hour.
distribution
The program is distributed via the local DABplus multiplex (channel 10C) at 88 kbit / s. With transmitters on the Nuremberg telecommunications tower (6 kW) and on the Dillberg (10 kW in single-wave operation), the in-house supply essentially extends to the urban area of Nuremberg and Fürth , the neighboring district of Nürnberger Land around the transmitter Dillberg and parts of the urban area of Erlangen and Herzogenaurach . There is also a mobile app and live streams on several streaming platforms, including via the station's homepage. An expansion to the radio player platform is also planned .
In the radio analysis Bavaria, the broadest audience was given as 9000 listeners, regular listeners are 7000 listeners. A net hourly range (listener yesterday) is 0.0 percent, still below the measurement limit.
