The Furnya Forest Park (spelling variant: Furuyar Forest Park ) is a forest area in the West African state of Gambia .
topography
The 405 hectare forest area is located in the West Coast region in the Kombo Central district and was set up like the other forest parks in Gambia on January 1, 1954. It is located south of South Bank Road , Gambia's main trunk road, around four kilometers from the center of Brikama . The approximately 2.7 wide and 2.9 kilometers long area extends in the west to the settlement areas of Brikama. In the east, the area is bounded by the trunk road that leads to the south as the Senegalese N 5 to Bignona .
